MUSLIM FRIENDLY GUIDES BASED ON REAL EXPERIENCES

During our own travels, we often struggled to find reliable information on halal food, prayer (masjid) facilities, and activities that truly fit a Muslim lifestyle. Most travel guides felt too general, inspirational instead of practical, or based on information pulled together from the internet rather than real experience.

Our guides are written from an Islamic perspective and based on places we have visited. They focus on step-by-step guidance and practical planning, so you can travel informed, prepared, and with confidence.

TRAVEL GUIDES

For Muslims who want to travel with peace of mind, while staying mindful of halal food, prayer times, and local culture.

Inside each guide, you’ll find practical, easy-to-follow information including visa details, day-by-day itineraries, helpful checklists, realistic budget insights, Google Maps pins, and recommendations for the best halal restaurants.

We also highlight family-friendly places and share tips to help you plan a smooth, meaningful, and enjoyable trip.

HIJRAH E-BOOK

Are you thinking about moving to another country, but not sure where to begin?

When we started exploring about Hijrah, we quickly realized how fragmented the information was. Conflicting advice, unclear steps, and very little guidance rooted in an Islamic perspective made the process overwhelming. That’s why we decided to document our entire journey — honestly, practically, and based on real experience.

Our Hijrah E-book offers clear, step-by-step guidance, including visa information, tips for creating an online income, structured checklists, realistic budget insights, and detailed preparation advice — helping you understand what Hijrah truly looks like from start to finish.

NICE TO MEET YOU!

Assalaamu alaykum! We are Azeddine & Eileen. In 2023 we decided to quit our jobs, pack our bags and book a one-way ticket to South East Asia. When traveling to these countries, it wasn’t always easy to find halal food, Muslim friendly activities and mosques. That’s why we’ve spent a lot of time doing research so we could start Halal Travel Asia. A blog meant to take you along on our halal-travel journey, always with respect for local cultures.
